This is our house - and our house music

As I landed in Minneapolis for work travel, I got a text from the contractor Jordan...the permits (all I think) are approved! He's now scheduling inspection. Last I checked with projected build time of 2-3 weeks, throw in a week to get inspectors there, this means I might be 3-4 weeks from having a DC home.

Nah...will never happen. Even if he gets it all done a fucking meteor will fall from the sky and obliterate (just) my home.

Or I'll have a huge gorgeous home in a month or so.
