Been racking my brain since anarcha noted different recommendations and types of cortisone plans. I cannot recall any instructions of what to do besides PT for flexbility.

I tried conventional DL today. It hurt, but I want to say not as bad. I did warmups at 155, 185, and 215...then lifts at 255, 295, and then 335. It didn't go well. Or it did.

It still hurt in the same way to do the DL, my stupid hip still hurt. I was happy my body remembered the movement, though I was definitely rusty on hand placement. I was, honestly, scared I could only do sumo since it's all I've done for months. But...it still hurt. Did it hurt as bad? I'm not sure how to tell - it did hurt, but with all else going on my grip was mediocre. I only did 5. After lifting 335 my hip not only hurt, but throbbed and maybe felt loose in the socket. I sat down - in despair. Just fucking despair. If this isn't the answer, what's the problem and what the hell does a solution look like?

I then switched to sumo and it felt normal - pain mostly gone. My grip was awful, but I think warming up conventional and then switching doesn't work - there is some crossover, but not enough to just switch willy nilly.

I have a huge bruise where the needle went in and I can't feel any pain there.

I don't know what this means. I do know I'm disappointed and frustrated.
