Gentrify your body
Jul. 10th, 2013 07:32 amIt occurs to me that trying to look healthy by doing cardio is like trying to gentrify the city by removing poor people. It's insane to try and remove what you don't like without adding what you want in the place.
The body looks good with muscle - some people try to remove the fat around their body, but lack muscle to both help and display. That fat has to go somewhere.
I'm hoping to be a gentrified part of the city - good muscle, not overdone, very efficient, but with small pockets of subsidized assistance around the mmiddle - not so much as to drag anyone else down.
Gentrify your body. I like this line of thought.
Oh, back from LA and dragging, fucking dragging, but with a smile still on my face.
