May. 20th, 2013 08:00 amI currently have 3 actual measured crazy people in my batch of EEO complainants. I think that's a fair representation of the EEO filer - they have attributional biases which prevent them from processing incoming events accurately. The common thread is a defensiveness to avoid any type of criticism or, to be frank, hard work (or discipline - one works when she shows up, but has major attendance problems).
The lesson I find is humble people are less crazy - causation I leave to the PhDs to explore.
Yes I cross-posted that from facebook - many of my small quotes, while not necessarily reflective of large thoughts, sometimes are. Heard a great smidgen on NPR this weekend during a crappy interview, but somebody noted how we all used to sound so much smarter on

because we had the time to think out our responses. Hell, we had to.
Now things are happening in real time, and our immediate outbursts are recorded for eternity. I'm not sure how I feel about that - so fb is more real, but we're capable of more. Do we stop trying because real-time shows how fickle we all are, or do we put on a "front" as we collectively try to grow?
