Mar. 4th, 2013 08:03 amI can't catch up at work, but I'm getting more comfortable with mediocre and even shamefully bad filings. Meatball litigation, I has produce it.
Things I have not done and need to:
Haircut
Oil change / align/bal tire check
Clean anything
Things I have done:
Seen Janna, enjoyed out time, eaten out, fallen asleep on her repeatedly (you see, there is some good and bad in there - all work impacts my ability to play time)
Been grumpy around Janna
Kept up the muthahumpin gym baby.
Gym:
I'm deadlifting again - my butt still is off but I'm up to 66-75% of my weight, with better form (thank you internet), and it's not sore the day after or just barely. I'm hoping this is recovery. Squats are ok too.
I'm boxing again - I suck so bad, but am sucking substantially less with more rounds against the bag. My screaming left arm is screaming less and less loudly with practice. As I'm less exhausted I'm finding more errors to correct; this effect was amplified by light contact wrap-only round work on the bag - rediscovery your knuckle twist, boy. Footwork is not so much improving as when I do something incredibly stupid I realize it faster. I do rounds with the same egg timer I bought to shipe Diablo auctions...
More importantly, using my egg-timer boxing equipment, this morning I bought a hardcore mempo of twighlight helm! This was only possible after I yoinked a Chantado's Force orb in which somebody seemed not to have realized it had an arcane-power-on-crit mod. Overall I took a hit to damage, and either flatlined or upped life by only 5k out of around 60 depending on gear selected, but my speed went up like a quarter hit per second so I can practically freeze-lock packs.
