Yesterday I broke out the manual coffee grinder for the first time. First I made the crumblies too big, then I adjusted to make them smaller...but I think I made them too small. I LOVE grinding the coffee. It's easy (the handle is long) though it takes more time. Of course it's quieter than a machine, and importantly it's not a machine - that's like 24" of reclaimed counter. The downside seems to be you really need to take it apart to properly clean it, but if I ever get a Goldilocks setting - how will I ever get it again if I wash it?

I'd tell you how my coffee was if I hadn't f'd it up with soy milk and then been so absorbed in checking diablo auctions that I barely noticed as I took my medicine.

I'm in the office today when I don't have to be to:
1. Get my rattling car worked on (I just earned like 460 latino points for driving an old honda down the road sounding like it was dragging tin cans without anything visible touching the ground)
2. See my coworker who just was so sick she was going to the hospital before her doctor squooze her in (cancelling work travel to do it) and catch up in person
3. Do the discovery pile of crap I didn't touch yesterday which was the first thing I was going to do before being interrupated all day long

I'm back to full-on fear of my current work rather than feeling unmotivated because I see a way out. I haven't devoted enough time to think about doors 2-5 yet, but who has time.

VD? Janna and I were sitting on a couch in the Brewer's Art when the bartender restoked the fire beside us. I think that was my favorite moment for a while. Feb 14 is lame.
