I'm still alarmed people en masse don't seem to know even what the media news tells them. I'm less alarmed but highly annoyed by the news formula. There is no possible logical reason for the "person in the street" interview. The Onion was really making fun of the idiotic touch-screen gimmick, and now months after that gimmick channel 4 is doing the "newsreader moves boxes on the screen with her finger" idiotic show.

Coffee is my heroin. It doesn't do for me what it used to and I think about taking more to get the old sensation back. I take coffee to calm the pain of not having coffee rather than for the evasive pleasure. Alcohol is my yoga.

Every morning people get up to wash and scrape biology from their bodies. They cover themselves with sterile looking outfits, paint exposed skin - all in a battle to try and look less human. They hide flaws until there is nothing left to see but layers of projected image - paint, fabric, and a car. They strap in devices to block out sound with layers of artificial sound, cling to an artificial screen jammed in front of their face to shut out the world around them. The war with biology is never-ending.

I have joy dripping from my pores.
