Aug. 10th, 2011 06:38 pmThe hearing was a raging success...except for the testimony from the most important witness, who failed to ... oh why bother. I think we won, and it's interesting that I think I've only had about 1 hearing a year. We usually win at the weigh-in.
My free pass to LA fitness was not accepted because I don't live here (and to their credit they had a sign to that effect up in front). I paid my $15 and did 2 workouts. Just to get my money's worth, I got 360 DL for 3 rather than 1. Take that, corporate lackeys. Now I'm in Krogers, where I had a horrible salad and drank almost a quart of skim milk (oh god my stomach hurts right now). It was cheaper to work out hard, cheaper to get a quart of milk, cheaper to get this damn nasty salad, and then stay here and use their internet with CNN blasting in my ear in a grocery store.
Next time I will find a way to be downtown which is near gold's, and has free internet.
I'm not going to be able to keep up with eljay on this trip - no internet and 12 hour days...oh and holy fuck I'm tired.
I want to drink and can do it for free in the hotel lobby - there are even poi to watch while I would do it, but drinking alone even with fish to watch sounds lame. I just worked out and I'm fattish right now, so it seems wasteful. Instead, I'll wait until I'm home alone and can drink alone while playing diablo.
I'm annoyed with the stock market crash as I'm losing a fortune. It's worse when I'm in non-internet work all day and the republican created crisis is erasing my savings.
Lots of hotties around here, very plastic as I said in HS, but noteably hot. I suppose I could kill the "wow hot" feeling by trying to talk to someone.
I did just talk to someone. The woman with fruit on her pants who started yelling to herself when CNN talked about Obama, shouting "He's an evil man! He's an evil, evil, man!" just came up to me and stated she was illiterate, and wanted to call her friend Terri but couldn't read it in her phone where it was. I told her I'd be happy to help.
