(no subject)
Aug. 4th, 2011 09:17 pmToday I realized I've lost more in the stock market than I used to gross in two year's time.
SIR:
This week I got my economist a little early, but last week I did not receive a magazine.
Now I suppose there may be no magazine for that period; that the natural disgust of the self-imposed US "crisis" caused the Kingdom to turn it's head away as the sight is hard to stomach. If that's the case I certainly agree, and I won't even ask for a make-up copy or extended subscription. As a citizen I'm supposed to share blame for the antics on the hill, and I admit I do feel some shame. Still, the economist hasn't endorsed the childish behavior and it hardly seems fair to assume that all people in the US are complete and utter dolts. Some of us watch Top Gear (take that as you will).
Please pity those of use known as literate US citizens, and continue to publish the economist even if we all appear a bit daft at times.
