Nov. 29th, 2010 07:19 amEvery time I fly I think I might die. It's not so much a fear as a perspective - I'm not scared of the prospect until the plane goes over an air hump. I'm not scared of death every time I climb into a crowded metro or mall. Thinking fatalistically, I review my life and conclude: I'll be pretty easy to clean up after.
Most of my friends are very anti-scanner/pat-down (despite getting felt up on their way into privately owned clubs for years) and while I'm ok with the scanner/pat-downs, I think it's good to keep pushing back on privacy and unregulated law creation and enforcement. So, while I'm not going to resist the scanner, I will do my own part to enter the sympathetic protest: I will try my best to get scanned with a raging erection.
