Jun. 9th, 2010 11:13 pmHo-boy - as I was leaving today I got a voice mail that the job I applied for at PTO wants to interview me.
It's a promotion, but I'll probably make the same here in a few years.
It's a promotion, but for all I know it's harder than here
It's a promotion, but how long do I have to work?
I have a reputation where I am, but how long does it take to build a new one - and with my new skills would I be stronger and better starting from scratch in that regard?
Is my place getting better across the board, worse, or will it stay the same?
A job at PTO would tie me to VA much more, with the huge advantage if so that I have this home here for little cost and could commute to work cheaply and free.
Probably have an office instead of a cube farm.
Janna is really helping me with questions, such as "Is interviewing really that big a deal?" I'm scared to interview if I don't know if I'd be accepting the job if offered.
I have a lot to think about in a short period of time.
