Ugh - that wasn't the "hour" button on that DC parking area ticket maker meter thingy...it was the MAX button. $8 worth of parking on the street?

Once very parked, hit chinatown coffee company. Same employees, same alt music, amazing sexy new coffee machines, and fucking amazing coffee. The space is better, cleaner, but...not better as it'll never be a hangout space. I miss the amazing coffee tons, but I'm not about to go hang out in or around china-block to get the coffee. One sour note - hope she made a mistake, but for a refill on drip coffee the girl charged me another $1.90?

Am sick of having fun. Doing chores the rest of today, possibly getting drunk alone on white russians (farmer's market skim milk, so it's healthy with that coffee liquor and vodka, YES...)

Nearly bought that $3500 Harmon Kardon server for $150...but I couldn't get around the fact I just don't use one right now and didn't forsee any need to later.

Have found the oil lamps work just fine. I'm going all steampunk with my collectibles.

CD STORAGE FAIL

So for the first time since I put all my cds in binders, I tried to fetch something. Nothing hard, I just wanted the original album version of Wumpscut's "Thorns." Turns out the track listings are all on the back of the cd, so with the back of the cd in a different pile (they don't fit in the cd sleeve that goes into binders, which are "cd sized") I couldn't tell which song was on which of 4-5 wumpscut cds. Fawque.

I'm not ready to go all electronic, and the irony is I'm seriously considering putting all those stupid cds back in cd plastic cases. My other idea is to get or make undivided drawers that are cd size so at least you can have all the cover together with the cd - only it would be a bit jumbled (even in alpha order). So, I'm seeking ideas.

POLLISH THING - HOW DO YOU STORE YOUR CDS?
