Ok - depo in Minneapolis is over and I got not only what I wanted, but an unexpected plug into the one hole in this case volunteered by the idiot complainant! It was all I could do not to stand up and yell SCORE!

In the Graves601 hotel, ritzy as ever. Of course, all I've done is work while I was there. Couldn't sleep, so I prepped for my depo with TV: roast of flavor-flav; ATHF, and metalocalypse. Now I'm just meeting with the rest of staff to socialize...I mean address any pending issues I may not be aware of.

Tempted to go out here tonight, but...if I have drinks here tonight, while there is nothing going on thur, fri is the Adam, Sat is EK, Sun is volgothic, then Mon is faire for us not-full timers. Why do my vacations always require vacations at the end?

A thousand thoughts, all work-related. I may stop by the bar I see from my window - Seven. It's got an outside deck, lit tables, lights outside that rotate through the spectrum of rainbow like a fiber-optic lamp, and fire shooting out of a fountain. At night they project video onto a screen (back of a billboard) but it's always sports (blech).

Speaking of eljay, spoke to a woman today who is angry that everyone seems to know her son works in the office. I repeat - don't do anything you are ashamed of and you won't have to hide anything.
I'm not ashamed - I just don't want everyone to know... WHATEVER
That said - I don't advertise my real name online persona / off-the-clock madness to my coworkers and searches do not appear to find my blogs under any pseudonyms. However, I refer to myself as in drag and other things with complete abandon. I'm not interested in sanitizing who I am depending on audience - not much, anyway. Perhaps enough to prevent discomfort to otherwise decent people.

I found out late last night my investiment into Marvel stock has tripled. I want to be happy about that...except for the 12 other stocks that went down. Yay triple with selective attention and reporting bias!

I know somewhere in my head that Nadra and/or Colin will spank me, just verbally, for failing to do cool things in Minneapolis. I don't care about any shows tonight in the 2city area - though I'm MISSING TMBG tomorrow! Fucking geeko-terrorkraft hell!

I just have to note that I had the most hip waiter in the most hip former club - current restaurant/bar, I have ever seen. It was Chris - in the hotel restaurant extroidinaire. Seriously...no offense to the SUPER STYLE of Chris, but it was the exactly same hair, the exact same outfit, same demeanor...only he was a fucking waiter. A WAITER CLONE. I inquired about the super cool music - I swear he said it was Jim's Big Ego stated on Pandora - but it COULDN'T have been. They were playing pandora, and they switched to happy (or is it numb) from nirvana, and still I liked a lot of what it played. Note - I need to pandora whore my ass.

I tried to go to the super cool light-up bars, tables, and firey fountain bar tonight...oddly the super fancy places all have so-so prices, sushi rolls were only about $10 as were the drinks with top shelf mixers, but...the douche factor was out of control. Also odd was that immediately outside the douche-o-rama were ghetto-riffik thugz or at least wannabes. It was when I passed the white skank with the torn tummy-exposing t-shirt (not fashionably) that I realized these sidewalk crowds are truly mixed.
