Jan. 3rd, 2009 10:18 amWell I was worried I'd be too happy to write, but luckily god had given me a lovely disease to inspire my artistic endeavors and you get to read my angst and virus-induced drivel. Hooray! I'm on coffee right now so everything seems interesting. Like Doom. I downloaded Steam's Doom and DoomII for 99ยข each, and am alarmed that I can't remember very important legal points and salient case facts while the maps for the early levels of 1993's DOOM are clear as day. Perhaps if I used shotguns at point blank range with opposing parties at work I'd have better attention to detail.
I got a letter from my bank "warning me" that I got a huge deposit via mail, then another warning me I got a huge deposit via wire. Oh gnoes! I want to write them back and explain that I had a distant relative die in Nigeria (that's a country, not a slur Ms. Palin) (yes I know that was a hoax) and I'm absorbing an unclaimed bank account through a high-ranking government/bank official.
I'm inside my house wearing big floppy sweats and a wool cap pulled down practically over my eyes, and I have sad puppy eyes. I'm surly and silent, but you can see my suffering through my art and my eyes. That's right - I've turned into eminem.
Talking to Janna, who is considerably less fuzzy than I right now, I discovered that my 2 pills every 4 hours meant I was double-dosing on pseuphedrine for an entire day. I took Tracey's advice and bought the mucinex D today - and found out it is behind the counter because it also has pseuphedrine in it. Neat. I checked the box of drugs I was taking to ensure I had waited long enough to take it, and found out I wasn't double dosing on pseuphedrine at all - it was phenylephrine (which...wtf is that? What do I boil this in to get high?) Oops. Great - I don't even know what drugs I'm on. Also alarming is the pseuphedrine calls 30mg a single dose (though to my credit, is in 2 tablets and looks the same and is packaged the same as the un-controlled phenylephrine, which calls 1 pill a single dose), to be taken every 4 to 6 hours. The MucinexD is to be taken every 12 hours, and has 120 whopping mg of pseudophedrine. Now, that means it is timed-release, or per my bitchy leaping conclusory post yesterday means I'll poop it out rather than actually have the thing spitting out a steady stream of medicine throughout my body all day. However, I'm taking the junk anyway because when you're sick rational thought goes out the window and drugs sound like a wonderful idea. Holy ... stood up to take the mucinexCrap and wow I'm dizzy now. Medicine candyland, it's like thrillkillkult without the pvc shorts.
