LJ went all wonky yesterday - hope I caught all replies/msgs, not sure I did as not all were emailed to me.

Gay dance club night this Sat.

Went to facebook and got so sick of "Single over 30 / christian singles / single over 40 / goth singles / hot russian bride mamma" ads on the side that I changed my status to married. It did stop the ads - now they're for MMA, get rich quick, and abs reduction machines. I couldn't post and comment very well without allowing ad site cookies - it kept eating comments/replies and saying "try again later" with no explanation. People commented on the status change but didn't seem to see the post that explained why I did it. So, I guess I'm married to a few people who don't know me well.

Edit. Shit. Or good. Just found out two people who recently left my Agency are returning. One is only returning because his security clearance didn't pass, so he just needs the job even though they treated him like shit. The other is that selfish recluse - he worked TWO DAYS in the other area and then came begging for his job back. My problem with him is that he treated all of us like utter shit - was disrespectful to our faces WHILE he was begging managers for his job back behind closed doors. This top-down management thing is a killer. BUT at least the cass I had to take from him return to him, and if I leave and it doesn't work out...I can come back, I suppose. If they don't take me back, he's a great comparison for an EEO complaint. Still, I'm stuck with a coworker who trashes his coworkers to try and cover his faults - not good. Today I intend to apply to 2 different jobs.

I'm not sure how to word this, but first of all thank you for the holiday gift. I'm a huge fan of See's candies in particular.

However, I'm afraid the gift I received may have been defective. It looked ok when I first opened it yesterday, but by the time I left I noticed that it was half empty. This morning it seemed have even more empty space in the box, and by lunch the entire package seemed devoid of candy. I know it's the thought that counts, but you may wish to see if other recipients faced similar problems with the longevity of the product.

Today the Civil Rights group announced a training session to which they gave the wrong room number. When I pointed this out, they sent a notice saying "sorry there was confusion." I loathe people who evade issues by addressing them in the nebulous fugue state that falls outside of anything they did wrong. "I'm sorry you feel that way" should be a legal defense for justifiable homicide. However, my candy take is cute.
