This Sat I kinda want to hit the found footage festival but nobody who wants to go isn't booked. That might be a good thing, because I'm hitting elektroshok later on - with the drive (there and back this time) that's a long long night for me.

Next Sat, 12/20, is gay dance club night! Spellbound is also doing their holiday thingy, so there are options.

This band, crystal castles is my new favorite band obsession. Go to their website and buy their shit. If you don't like the music, then just send them money so they will keep doing this and I can buy it. Yeah it's technically synth, but I think it's more electroclash. How I can love this type of music so much, and hate "synth pop" so much I don't understand. I also don't understand why they show up under the genre of "thrash."

Are there clubs where they play this music? I would forsake everything I know about clubs right now to go to a place that played music like this where I could dance.

Yes I’m pissed off that yet another fucking band that I like is out of Candata/Toronto. I finally have an answer to "Why do you hate America?" The answer is "Because the music sucks."

TODAY has sealed the idea that it is worth every penny to upgrade this 7 year old laptop. I spend more time waiting for things to load than I do using the damn thing. $400? $500? Sure.
