Last night I showed the old place to one of the girls that used to live there - the difference is now objectively verified. When I picked up the SCORE last night, the fellow was talking about how the seller/buyer was just trying to flip the place, but that he wanted to much for it. He mentioned the price I expect as unrealistic compared to new units in the area. I don't necessarily agree with his view, but it does occur to me that even in this market, I'm not willing to budge much from my asking price. Faced with the idea of having to keep it for rental (possibly for life as such, the original plan) I again find myself in a precarious financial situation (more so after spending thousands on the respiffing).
