Homeland security alert

Saw Kel in B'more last night - was surprised to pass the convention center for a major slutfest anime / cosplay convention. I know Kel wanted a good seafood restaurant, but didn't complain one little peep when we plopped down in a seedy Fell's Point bar (friends, which had surprisingly good and healthy foods). Kel's friends kinda suck because you can't pay for anything - some jackass is always grabbing the tab. Joked about going to Orpheus due to said convention, surprisingly went, surprisingly stayed until closing. I still like Orpheus, but it is weird to see townhomes across the street (and rather nice). Nice to see Kel, she looks happy surrounded by her peeps.

Driving home from B'more at 2am isn't my favorite thing. Got passed on 95 by a red truck that whizzed by me doing at least 100 mph - on the shoulder. I was not only in the right lane, but was the only car for hundreds of feet fore and aft, all lanes.

Tonight is Lisa & Kris' wedding - I was going to wear a suit to be respectful and unusual, but they have made frequent specific notes that ANYTHING is acceptable, encouraging "There will be no dress code: sun dresses, shorts, leopard prints, and black leather are all okay." I was going to wear a summer suit to be "respectful," but it's sunk in to me now that respectful to them will be same as it is for my quirks - not to impose what I think is approp, but to follow their wishes. That, and it's not hard to convince me to wear a t-shirt and shorts outside. Now, do I have a short leopard print & black leather sun dress?
