Went running last night - there is always time for the simple shady 2-mile course. Of course, I finished my workout with an ice-cream brownie waffle-cone sunday and chocolate martini. Martini? I think if I put bacardi and diet in a martini glass I have a B&D martini.

Last night Alien Warrior was brilliant. I haven't seen that many racial stereotypes since the Chappell show, that fast karate learning skill since Elvis, that bad an actor since Hercules claymation movies, that type of sexuality since the 70s, that picture of street culture since beat streat...it was just peak in so many lovely areas. Much laughter ensued.

Computers are really really cheap. I keep thinking of buying one, and then wondering why I want to upgrade what I don't fully utilize now? Why am I shopping for things I already have? A bigger tv doesn't make anything worth watching, my new DVD player doesn't make movies better, and I still don't read as much as I should.

Edit - argh! That motion I worked on, and in which I "highly recommended" he remove the pointless 5-10 pages of re-hashing the background unrelated to the discovery issues, was just protested as violating a page limit required on filings! I didn't know about the limit, but by coincidence if had listened to my advice (which translated into "don't be an asshole") he wouldn't be rejected without addressing the merits. His oversight, style, and failure to heed my warning (for a different reason) may have really resulted in a loss. Eep. LISTEN TO ME DAMNIT! This also means the work I did all goes kapoot.
