STILL haven't set up my nearly month-old computer. Wanted to establish my starup/restore disks, which would require 15 cds (bleah) or 2 dvd. I bought a pack of 4x 4.7 gb r/w dvds, which the computer recognizes just fine, will read, write, and erase - only when in the create restore disk function (which only can be done once) it will not recognize the damn dvd. "DVD or CD is not blank. Please insert blank disk." email into HP support, stupid fuckers. HP M8200N is still sitting here mostly unused.

I think I'm going to put a corner desk in the living room and put the computer there by the tv, since it is tv/cable/hd compatible. I think I have most of the wired for setup too.

Not hitting spellbound. Boxing and coffee today, then a huge humpin nap. Loving this rain.

What speed should a wireless networ be? For internet? For streaming audio? For streaming video? I see I can get routers and adaptors for next to nothing if I get 54mbps, but is that enough?
