Hillary? I'm disappointed in how many people, even after realizing she reflects their political views, will not vote for her because they "hate her" (someone you never met). First, it's acceptable to use her first name alone. Then...what is it? Some women hate her, many men hate her, based on her strong manner or something. Perhaps they fear her education in something other than home economics. Whatever it is - it should not be relevant.

As long as people vote from their gut we'll get idiots in office. I'm sure if you get Mr. W, you'd find him very personable, charming, just like Slick Willie. You know who else was very charming? Ronald Reagan. He had more felon cabinet members until perhaps W, and half destroyed the country, but he sure was personable.

If you vote based on some ill-informed like or dislike when you have access to data that shows your interests are better served by the person you don't "like", it hurts the entire country.

I give up - I'm going to post one big comment here rather than to the 20something to my "Hillary hatred" post.

THANK YOU. I should I have known I was speaking to the wrong audience! Thank you for liking or disliking her based on her record, and how her views/actions correlate with your views.

I was not saying that people who support her like her, or don't vote for her hate her. I was just being amazed at people who had knowledge of the fact that their views were consistent with her views more than the other candidates, but would not vote for her based on their opinion of her personality. If you vote based on some basic research of your issues and how your selected candidate votes on those issues, well I can't ask for more than that.

I just got back from Chattanooga, Tennessee, a place that loves double letters. I only realized last night when I noticed the busy bar across the street and really struggled over whether to go or not...that I avoided going downtown and to see the sights of the city in lieu of working out in the gym. It wasn't even a question - I just had time so I went, then juggled with the time I had after the gym. Now, I've been trying to look 'hot' for years, but how useful is that compared to being or having fun? I have fun in the gym, but why go to anygymUSA instead of an actual attraction, say the aquarium? Weird me...
