Jan. 9th, 2008 05:42 amHillary? I'm disappointed in how many people, even after realizing she reflects their political views, will not vote for her because they "hate her" (someone you never met). First, it's acceptable to use her first name alone. Then...what is it? Some women hate her, many men hate her, based on her strong manner or something. Perhaps they fear her education in something other than home economics. Whatever it is - it should not be relevant.
As long as people vote from their gut we'll get idiots in office. I'm sure if you get Mr. W, you'd find him very personable, charming, just like Slick Willie. You know who else was very charming? Ronald Reagan. He had more felon cabinet members until perhaps W, and half destroyed the country, but he sure was personable.
If you vote based on some ill-informed like or dislike when you have access to data that shows your interests are better served by the person you don't "like", it hurts the entire country.
