(no subject)

Saw the police demonstrating how to blow up melons with fireworks. Land of the free? Do most people in the state not like fireworks? Aren't the people we protect by banning fireworks...us? The users? Why are the speed limits unreasonable? Why aren't USians mad that 18 year olds are being sent to Iraq to die but can't drink a beer legally? Isn't VA ashamed of their new "revenue generating traffic ticket" fees? Why are these laws that a majority of the population disagree with put in place and remain enforced? I am getting to LOATHE paternalistic laws - let me eat, drink, and blow stuff up as much as I want. I only want to be protected from other people - not myself. I want the freedom to be left alone - make privacy a real fundamental right. Make my body my own.

Speaking of the temple, I think I have about an hour's worth of sugar. I'm not lawyer-Chris, that's for sure. I ran a good 2 miles this AM...which is fine, only I had to go 4 miles. The 2nd 2 miles sucked balls, and then my hour point 5 or so in the gym afterwords really hurt. On the other hand, I did it and while I slowed - I didn't stop. Studying for the bar I had to combine my workouts to save time, and the unintentional result is that I realized I didn't have much stamina. Now I'm trying to bring that up.

Think a slightly older woman hit on me in the gym, then a 20-something. I smiled. The scales are telling me I'm still losing weight, so I might need to revisit my eating habits to maintain my weight. Hard to run faster longer and lift more weight when you're wasting away. But dayamn...my abs look tasty.
