Barbri prep course - day 1

So, parking was much worse than expected. I think I circled a 5-7 block radius for 40-60 minutes. Even the residential areas had parking limited to 2 hours until 8:30 pm. I managed to get a miracle spot, but I'm not sure I want to rely on that the rest of the term. It looks like convenience and time be damned - I'm taking metro.

The class is fast paced and hard - but once again i'm doing more than my peers (sounds good, but usually I do more work and my peers still outperform me). Few had actually gotten the books, and needless to say few had subsequently done the assigned 120pgs of reading. The lecture was ok, I mostly kept up most of the time - had some brain lapses and when she sung pop song mnemonics I was more than a little annoyed. I prefer my mnemonics to be perverse, reverter is perverter, reversion perversion (now how to distinguish?)

Luckily - not one hottie in the class. Not one hot girl, not one hot boy, not black, not white, not inbetween or any shade of Benetton. This is a good thing - 10 at night on marathon sessions of bar study - last thing I need is a place for my wiener to think about while I'm trying to work.

I've taken off about 3.5 weeks on the books for this. I can do this - that much is clear. It will be a lot of work, but it is clearly doable. So says I after 1 whopping day.
