What a beautiful day.
1. Worked from home, which means I ate lunch at India Curry House again - stuffing myself with stinky injun fud. Am so happy and still full.
2. Saw doves romancing in the window. I STILL love living up here. I'm nowhere near bored looking out the windows. This is the best book depository ever!
3. Just found out another one of my MSJs (Motion for Summary Judgment - asking the judge to decide the case out w/o a hearing based on the evidence in the record and the pleadings) resulted in an Agency win. The EEOC finally decided the case, without a hearing, for which I submitted a motion back in June. The judge inexplicably let the Complainant, a serial EEO complaint filer represented by paid counsel, engage in discovery after missing all applicable deadlines. Oddly, when we forwarded his discovery requests to the appropriate parties, we discovered that previous investigation had not uncovered his prior disciplinary file. Once we had our grubby lil hands on that, we amended our MSJ to include his prior discipline. Within a few weeks, we were handed another win. This win makes me especially happy because instead of just losing his dignity, this time the serial complaint filer also lost monies. Cash monies. I am pleased. I like winning.
