Sep. 1st, 2006 08:19 amI'm working at home today. After fielding emails, I dropped my car off at the shop in the rain. Then I ran home.

At 7-11 I thought very seriously about taking a break for a slurpee. I false-promised myself I'd come back later. I thought seriously about stopping at Washington Blvd, but didn't. Too many cute people between Clarendon and Court House to think about stopping, and then I knew I was just a few hills from home so there was no way I was going to go that far and stop. I didn't go fast, but I never stopped.
