I'm sorry for the delay. I know many of you were wondering where Jose would come down on the posting youtube links in lieu of writing anything. I've reviewed the issue, and come down with what I think is a very predictable decision - I'm ok with it.

Some people will be surprised by my decision, but only because they subscribe to the bitchy queen image of me, rather than noting my acerbic wit and appropriate targets. Let me break down why youtube links are acceptable, and say...quiz results, are not.

Quizzes:
1. You do not write them - you just click on radio buttons
2. The formatting is frequently off, or the last lines of / codes are missed. These missed codes often result in an entire f-list being thrown off, from all italicized, to 3' wide.
3. The pictures when coded right are large, bit-heavy, and annoying. They are not good on your screen when the boss walks by.
4. contribute no content whatsoever. The inane pictures and most similar Rice vampire description do not start conversations.

Youtube videos:
1. You do not write them - this is their biggest failing.
2. Codes, typos, or other problems with links do not cause problems to the f-list view of any LJ user.
3. The link does not make you look guilty in front of your boss and have a minimal bit-count.
4. The videos are often amusing.

So quizzes = crap at best, destruction at worst.
Youtube = hysterical at best, short and slightly painful at worst.
