So Warren Buffett is giving away most of his fortune. To anther rich guy who is giving away his time and fortune in charity work.

I find this to be more evidence that money is not the goal, that people who actually "win" the money race have the time to realize that while money enables things, it is not the end all. No matter what revenue you have, over a certain level of sustenance is only marginally relevant. You will work within whatever confines you are given to achieve something based on a relatively consistent goal to effort ratio. I think. I just know if I win the lottery (don't I have to play first?) I will keep working out and doing...something. I also know it wouldn't be making LJ posts from the office.

I must not have taken Evidence this past spring semester, for if I had someone would have taken the time to tell me, good or bad, what grade I received. I'm not sure what I want. If I got an A, then I'm happy my efforts were rewarded. However, that means I have to continue to scrape and struggle to get good grades. If I got a B or lower, then I have no reason left to try and get good grades. I could lower my effort!
Wait a minute...if you were trying before, and only getting Bs, then if you don't try won't you only do worse?
Shut up.
