(no subject)

I turned in my paper, but I know I could do better if I had more time. Really.

Last night I think I had a nightmare...I wasn't scared so it was more like a dream with the context of a nightmare without the emotional content. Specifically, it was a zombie movie...with product placements. Lots of them.

I'm not planning to see the wonka movie everyone is talking about. I'm sure it's wonderful, and Depp has done cute work in the past - it's just there is already a wonderful film rendition of the book out, in color, with Gene Wilder. It's a fantastic movie, and while its old I really don't see any need to redo it. I saw it a while ago on TV, and was amazed at how enjoyable it was to this day. I'm kind of sick of every movie being a sequel, popular book, comic, or some story that is already in circulation. American movies are based on investors putting forth venture capital, and to minimize the risk they all shoot straight for the sure thing - both in terms of stories and actors. I need to hit more foreign and indi films, just to throw some money towards development of culture rather than recycling.

All this anti-bi talk makes me want to date a guy just out of spite. How very sophomore year of undergrad of me! Next I'll cover my car with stickers and buy paraphernalia from DuPont! How dare you judge me (shoves rainbow thong in everyone's face). I'll be the Tom Green of bi!

Tonight I'm going to the happy hour in Bethesda with the high school group.
