Jul. 3rd, 2005 06:49 amToday the scale said I am 12.6% body fat, 137 lbs. At least today I have an excuse for why I look that way, if you excuse the brownies.
The problem I have with this paper as opposed to typical legal writing is that I have to identify and solve a problem. Yeah, I'm supposed to propose something that all the other journal writing creeps, lawyers, and judges couldn't think of...as an assignment in a class. My lack of giving a shit is making work on this project difficult. All I've done so far is read and familiarize myself with the subject matter all over again, but the more I look the more expansive the view becomes.
I need to just sit down and chart out about 5 cases, 2 statutes, and then dive into possible analogies between mail in USPS (government issue), UPS vs. FedEx (one allows full access to gov, the other doesn't), and who exactly owns the internet (is this government, education and is educ gov, and how important the end provider being public is)...and compare to phone calls. Is an email a phone call or a stored electronic file? Yawn.
At 9 I watched Justice League, and started to put on my boots to break my rule and go to the club. By 9:30 I had put the boots and idea away. Hope everyone had fun :)
