I still feel like ass
Jan. 14th, 2005 07:40 amThere's a certain amount of freedom being sick. One of the scenes I remember from Anne Rice's drivel was when the one faggot vampire turns the other faggot into another faggot vampire, and he finds himself knee deep in decaying corpses. He isn't repulsed by them or their stench, for he is immune to any mortal disease. Well, that's me right now. I fear not that doorknob. I don't care if you washed your hands (and you probably didn't). It's me that's the disease. Fear me, my germs. I fear not, I have it and now I'm immune. I'm free from fear of filth today.
By the way, not only is coughing a great lower abdominal exercise, but after you do it for a few hours straight (or a few days), it also helps you target the lower back (lumbar) region. Were it not for the flesh being stripped from your throat, we'd all be finding ways to do this. Ripped abs all around!
Argh that fat scale. The thing has 3 athlete gradations: 1: lazy slob, 2: moderate 30 mins 3 times a week, 3: insane freak jock - 45 mins or more 5 times or more a week. I started on 3, and it told me I'm 10% body fat. Nuh-uh. So on setting 2 it called me 16% body fat, then 17, then 18, now 17 again. 10% is as low as you're supposed to go (for men, much higher for female). I might set a goal of 10% for summer, but I'm not that freaked out by body image for real. It's something I monitor, but ultimately I have to be happy with myself rather than trying to meet someone else's idea. I'd fuck me blue based on looks alone...
