Jan. 4th, 2005 04:38 amI gave up on getting back to sleep based on experience. Inuyasha, wolves, witch hunters...a bit of on-line geekery. I don't mind being up - like a peek into another world, but it does mean the day that follows will suck.
I'm confused - the gym is being good to me and the scale is being fair, but I swear my pants didn't fit yesterday. Of course, they're new pants - but the same size. My abs are growing very strong very fast, and my bench is still increasing...yesterday I controlled 175 pretty well. I could see that I could do 200...so my goal of 225 is a reasonable one to see achieved! Soon 2 plates will be my bitch. I don't just lift a weight - I don't throw it up there, I own the weight...every bit of it, slowly, turning in my grip at my will...
I'm getting stronger, so a gain of 5 lbs is probably a good sign - but why don't these pants fit right? Different cut, or am I larger? If larger, fat or muscle? Speaking of it, I could use a truffle right about now...
