Jun. 29th, 2004 07:49 amToday I will find out whether or not I am going to Chicago :( It turns out they are still last-minute negotiating a possible settlement - one that the guy will take if he's in his right mind. On the other hand - if I do go, I'm thinking perhaps of finding some way to extend the trip and just hang for a bit. Dunno.

By the way - LJ tech-perts, how do you make it so when someone hits reply or post comment on your LJ, it opens a pull-down menu rather than reloading a new page to post a reply with? that's much quicker and reliable with the mood LJ and I'd like to add that feature.

I started to think that if I wasn't such a snob that perhaps I too could have appreciated all these acts as they appreared...then I realized that the enjoyment I was having was both enjoying the really cool acts, but also laughing my ass off at the failed experiments. Your failure is my amusement...no, all failure, including my own, is amusement. Pathetic geek stories.
Showing me Chi-a-go-go was just rubbing salt in my wounds regarding my cancelled trip, and that was before the first clip from jello. There were so many osbscure and fucking cool acts on there...and terrible ones...must be something in the water in Chicago, something bad and good...
