Wow - it is extremely cool to see a band play without being enveloped in other people's smoke. I just became one step close to being an anti-smoking-anywhere-I-go zealot. Midnight and my eyes didn't burn, my clothes and hair didn't smell, and not feeling like shit. Next morning, no coughing, no mourning. I could get used to this.

I like watching little bands, those rare times and place where my short ass can see them. I tend to disappear in my own little world when I do, though when I fade back in I watch how they play their instruments. Discussed if the past-tense of plink was plunk (my idea) plank (his) plinked (hers). Mine was a Dr. Suess reference, thinking of unthunk a glunk.

I got happy and sad last night about seeing friends, how I've done that a fair amount this week and fuck I miss it. Revisited my flat-out abandonment of art, what it is, what it is to me. Didn't win 222 million so it's back to work.
