Feb. 7th, 2004 08:01 amI can tell how happy the school is by the barrage of fake emails I get every day selling "Prescripti0n Convenience" and whatnot. Over and over, the list of paxil, zolof, and other happy pills is spammed to my law school inbox at the rate of about 6 a day. My good friends "Terrence Knox" and "Penelope Irvin" let me know about these important offers. They're neat coders though - they never actually send mail, just automatically appearing web sites that originate overseas. I've learned from my IT friends to delete them entirely w/o even looking at them, as they may register even a casual viewing and lock me in for future spams.
I didn't support the Iraq war for oil concept, but I think I would support a military intervention against countries that harbor companies that run spam servers.
They really need to just invest a couple of dollars into targeted marketing. If they were sending me a 5-flavor bacardi sampler I might bite. My prescription comes with ice and a mixer!
I always say bicardi, not bacardi. I spell as bad as my spam!
