I am now going to the internet because the idiots who run the closings information across the bottom of every/any news channel in the DC Metro area cannot prioritize. I have been watching the news since 5:50 AM and I cannot tell you if the government, local government, or major school systems are closed. Why? The information bar is wall to wall shit I have never heard of and no one cares about. I gave up when I saw the banner telling me some 'academy for hair' and 'potomac massage school' were closed.

Look. I and 99.5% of the population don't give a shit about the things on the banner. They are not announcing a weather closing, you idiots, they're using you for free advertising. Fucking learn to prioritize. Idiots...

and one more grumpy thing...if you're giving a massage for money, you're not a therapist - you're a fucking hooker.

The news reported that instead of blowing money on de-icer for your car locks, you can just use rubbing alcohol on your key! Just get it on the key and in the lock - the evaporating alcohol melts the ice. Me, I think I'd just splash / pour it on. Or, I would but as I have auto-alarm-locks I don't even use the key.
