Tonight between 10:30 and midnight f-16 fighter jets may engage in combat training missions over DC...if they don’t get rained out again? We’ll take on dog fighting jets but not thunderclaps? Do pilots fear rain in their hair? If anyone has visitors in town, walk along the potomac for a night-time stroll with them tonight, then when you are 'surprised' by fighter jets zoomming down the river, dive into the grass with your arms over your head screaming "Oh dear mother of god, not again!" It'll be worth it for the panic you inspire!

I made my last car payment this month, and the title just arrived in the mail. I think this means it is about to catch on fire.

Happy about my history

So spending the weekend with mommy was filled with all sorts of catching up and reflection on the past. From this visit came the revelation that while my psychology BA and MA degrees were worthless in terms of getting me a job, they did help me grow in some important ways. I wonder if the fact that I thought through why I wanted a flashy car based on psychoanalytic needs or learned associations led to my not giving a crap about Hummers now. The fact that I want to grow as a person more than financially is probably based on some lessons I learned them. It's possible I'd be similar w/o the psyc, but I think I may have made a very beneficial mistake in those academic ventures.

That and I can make lots of sex jokes.
