I'm not gay

I just happened to watch a 2 hour special about Betty Page. She's a girl, so as you can see that doesn't make me gay.

Oh, and I was so inspired by HG-TV that I went to Ikea and bought some fabulous light fixtures (I'd post a pic but a) haven't hooked up the cam in what...3 years now and b) their page doesn't have a link to that item, just the catalog page) and put them in the bedrooms. While I was there I picked up some flexible pink ice-cube trays that had heart-shaped ice cubes!

Standing around with a friend in Home Depot for about 2 fucking hours...talking about everyone we have ever known and throwing out loud catty comments about everyone walking by doesn't make me gay either. Neither does that kaluha and vanilla soy-milk cocktail with heart shaped ice cubes. Nope. I'm just a regular guy. < /swish >

I still haven't learned to edit LJ style, don't care to, but:

I was thinking of having an anti-xmas party. I thought about that, then changed my mind to more of a 'xmas refuge' party. I've always said while I hate xmas, I don't want to take it away from other people. I just don't want it shoved down my fucking throat everywhere I go, or at my home should I choose to TRY AND IGNORE IT and have in piped in through the net and TV.

So I came up with this idea..."Island of misfit toys" get-together. It would be a xmas refuge: no xmas, no hating xmas, no carols, nothing. It would not be a party, maybe from like 4-9 or something. Could watch movies, sit around and bitch about how we hate religion and/or families...stuff like that.

Is there any interest in this idea? I haven't really made up my mind yet. Yes I realize that I am of course breaking the no xmas rule by having it called something from an old xmas special...

EDIT: this would be held on xmas day, as in 12/25
EDIT AGAIN: There doesn't seem to be interest on LJ, so I'll just not do it.
