That was odd. I just received a call in the office about my application to George Mason. I was all ready to fill in whatever gap they must have had, or schedule an interview or whatever, when she said I had been accepted and my official letter and package would be put in the mail today.
I'm just happy they didn't ask for any sort of confirmation at all. I told her I was surprised they had made a decision so quickly as I had only recently applied. She said with an application as strong as mine it was really an easy decision to make.
Ok, who's next? GMU is my #1 choice despite being #47 or so in the rankings since it is so damn cheap and lets me stay here surrounded by people I don't like...I mean my family and friends. If any of the 1337 schools let me in, I really have to check out financing fast. I don't think I am willing to go if I have to give up my salary and blow a fortune on tuition. I'm not looking to kill myself at work, not even for uber-$
