vicarzWherefore: I note that I have witnessed the 2nd Wachovia bank close to 395 that has been robbed this week. I hereby disavow any other knowledge of the subject matter, hereinafter referred to as 'bling-bling.'
I went to the Gap today. Color me educated about popular culture. I have had a $50 gift card for ages, and finally took a moment to use it. I stopped in, found my size (at the very very bottom...I was scared I'd have to go to the boy's section for a while there). Then I go to pay. Now, I'm used to target and Potato Millie Mall, where I buy my Eddie Bauer or other wash n' wear pants for $15-20. I thought everyone did that. So when the pants, wash and wear kakhis, turned out to be like $45 I weirded out. For fun, I wandered around the store looking at prices. It turns out all the slobby clothing that makes you look like you're wearing hand-me-downs cost a bloody fortune. Faded, torn, boring, and bland...all for $40-150 for the label.
Bling-fucking-bling. I may look stupid wearing black t-shirts at my age, but given the playing field I feel like I'm above the curve.
On the other hand I got a new belt, thick and black - with silver coated holes. Someone's ass is going to be so red...
