So on my gummint day off I bought a 5 cd/dvd player. I only realize now it has no coaxial in or out, just the funky new stuff. I will have to make time to figure out how to hook it up. My idea was to use it to live between the vcr and the tv. Sigh.

Perhaps this is why it was an open box special. It might go back the way it came.

try hooking it into the VCR. Otherwise you can get a converter at RadioShack for $10

Well a large part of me getting a DVD player was because every 2-20 minutes my vcr shorts out the tv. I was hoping a cheap dvd player could take the flash better than it and would allow me to watch tv movies/tapes w/o having to get up, unplug the tv, wait for the power light to fade out, then rinse repeat. Le sigh.

Get the converter...we have one, works great. That VCR can't be good for your TV!
