I have the VD itch. Really.

I have seen and heard a lot of commercials. I see red and pink everywhere. I have money, watch media, and am American. I want love. So, I went shopping. I bought diamonds. I bought roses. I bought cards. I bought chocolate, the expensive kind in a ruffley box. I think I've pretty much done everything.

So where's the love? I am looking for the hot (i.e. tall, blonde, skinny, quiet, dumb) girl I'm supposed to be with. I've got all the stuff - now who do I give it to? It's like, I've paid for the moment, but I don't know when it is. I mean I guess it's 2/14, but what do I do? Where do I go? How do I meet this person I've paid so much for on credit?

The tall thing is the most confusing. I think I'm supposed to be tall too. Perhaps that's why it's not working.

This is why I have conveniently selected my birthday to be 2/15. Don't know what to do with all the unused chocolate / flowers / sex toys / diamonds that never found their home? Pretend they're birthday presents! Isn't it supposed to be better to give than to receive? That's right, I'm doing this for you.*

In terms of "meeting the person", I found that hanging out at Tracks and waiting for everyone I knew to tell me not to date that guy worked pretty well.

*fear not! if you lack those leftover things, a cuddle is as good a gift as any. also note unused.
