It seems when I'm nervous or scared about something I'm the last to know. Unable to sleep means today is going to be hte suck. Up till midnight, awake again at 4. I wouldn't care except my hardest exam is on Friday and I'm supposed to be in mega-cram-mode today (tonight after work) and tomorrow. Caffeine is not good enough to function at that level. Maybe I'll just ride metro zzzzzzz.......

LJ keeps proper post time, but all my comments to and from other people show times like 8 hours off - wtf?

Thanks you dozen people who posted about the earthquake. Um, what earthquake? I wouldn't have even known as it didn't pop up on my rueter's or AP headlines.

Last night I ran into the sweetie girl from upstairs. She works for a non-profit, and bikes to work every day. She was red-faced and I told her I thought she was out of her gourd biking in this weather. Only when she responded did I realize she was crying. Crossing the Key Bridge from G'town, someone pushed her off her bike and tried to take her jacket. She retained her jacket and health, but the experience had her very shaken up. She didn't think to pay attention to what he looked like and doubted she could describe him to police (I've had that problem so I understand). Fucking pisses me off when people do shitty things to good people.

See if your computer's time is off or if your time zone is set correctly on LJ.
Yeah, I didn't feel the earthquake either. Heard it on the news much later.
