Cafe New Dehli closes

NO! Damnit liu22 (or whatever she called herself in LJ) and I just ate there last week! I was noting that the parking was awful, and that even the liquor store had moved. I had a secret hope that they'd take over the space...but of course I've never seen the restaurant full. This crushes me - I only ate there every so often, but the food was reas...cheap, and really fucking good - always nicely spicey.
They were also 100% freak-friendly. I've been to more than one b-day or other freaky celebration there, and they would laugh during the 'gothic/ren birthday song.'
It seems as Clarendon becomes a yuppie village that those clients will hit the nicer CHAIN RESTAURANTS that they know rather than the real ethnic stuff. Big Bowl and Cheesecake factory will make a mint, while Cafe New Dehli and Nam Viet will die. Fucking SUV driving, uneducated, couldn't shove culture up their tight asses worthless mutha (the use of insults only got worse from this point)
