So after a marathon 2 weeks, or more, of casework...I've take the rest of the week off. Without moving. My writing skills and energy are sub-par.

Jordan noted he drives his employees hard, and before I left he noted 3 had walked off the job - but he was disappointed with them anyway. Returning from LA with the expectation of moving in on the weekend...I found nothing was done, and Jordan noted another 3 employees had walked off the job. I ran into him while he was there, a coincidence. I didn't do halloween in my home this year - I just couldn't.

The upstairs rooms are closeted and painted, only lacking finishing work, doors, switches and outlets, the entire master bath and laundry closet, and as Scott and Veronica noted - my pick of giant bedroom gray is actually an obvious purple. Luckily I like purple, but the samples just didn't look like this to me. On the plus side, I appear to live in the bedroom of a muppet.

The floors in the hall never dried and are damaged, so they'll need redoing. The stairs aren't done. The guest bath now has a toilet and the tile is done, but the tub was damaged with a major chip.

The entire main floor is undone. No kitchen floor, no cabinets, no redone wood floor, nothing. I meet with Scott tomorrow.

I'm downright dejected, but now on a coarse of video games and naps. Full-on recovery mode, here I come. The trip exhausted me and as I rest I'm only beginning to understand how much.

Edit - I took a work call and emailed my boss with a settlement offer on a case. She replied that she'd be happy to discuss it with me ... when I return next week. Hint received.
