Still, I'm hopeful this part will move along quicker since the zoning review process typically takes the longest.
Yes my town was more interested in the distance of my proposed deck from the property line (even though it is greater than the distance of the house from same) than how I was going to build it and whether it will fall down.
I've already picked out doors, flooring, cabinets, and a general scheme for hardware...but who knows what details will come up.
That would be my favorite part, well maybe after working out the layout itself. I am already versed in faucets and drawer pulls for a house I have not even made a decision to build.
