Did put belt higher on DL, that's where it hurt (below sternum). Maybe I got the floating ribs - will recheck placement & form.

I'm not having much squat luck but pauses could work - only in the low position I have pain - that puts the most pressure on the ball & socket, pulling it out / tearing the cartlidge in my case.
