One option is to make sure that (a) your organization has a style sheet regarding content and organization and (b) that everyone is aware of it. I hate to say it, because we did talk about it this weekend, but some do not actually understand the difference between active and passive and need those bloody first-year grammar/composition refreshers.
...in fact, when I finished my MA coursework, I found that my writing style had declined because I was juggling so many new concepts and frameworks--I developed a penchant for writing passive constructions, unfortunately. I still have to watch myself now.
