In a sense it's a relief, this impossibility. We are now told they are not hiring new litigators, but they're taking a sweet dolt and trying to train her in our job. This literally isn't possible anymore; the same realization I had just sent my coworker to take another job. It's not known yet, but that makes 2 employees and 135 cases (and it appears door #3 is also taking another job). I'm scheduled for travel 6 of the next 7 weeks.
Woke up at 3am sick today on top of all else - stress much? Perhaps other people can do this, but my sick 3 times in 2 months shows me I cannot. It's not weak will when my body fails repeatedly; I should accept what I can and cannot do.
Janna and I quietly broke up.
I think I'm going to identify as gay for a while. I don't have time or energy for anything else, so I'll pretend what I'm not doing or doing in ways that aren't things you'd brag about are men.
