(no subject)

I am home. Checked my acct, no wad. Grr.

We got ska-rewed by the Judge today. We agreed to settle the case, after having many witnesses not show up the day of the hearing, and having some that clearly were not going to ... shall I say ... display well. Combined with a Judge that already voiced his bias against us, we were happy to settle. Well, after agreeing to terms and releasing the witnesses, the Appellant's attorney balked at part of one of the conditions we agreed to. They claimed it wasn't agreed to, and the Judge agreed. I reminded them of the entire 10 minute conversation we had on that issue, and the quotes and examples that were used, and he'd have no part of it. I've dealt with lying witnesses and attorneys, but having a Judge lie is new to me. Unreal.

I'm sick of this work and school stuff. I wanna lay on the beach, get sand on my feet, not care what time it is, silly things. Not gonna happen, I'm already behind in school and the damn thing hasn't started yet.

I'm in a good mood, but I have no good news to share. Yay?

Ugh. Well, I'm dealing with the home warranty company and the plumber, who didn't fix the pipe (it's hammering), removed my perfectly functional tub drain and replaced it with a substandard one without my permission, and who kept me at home waiting all day yesterday because they promised they were coming out to finish the job, only to HANG UP ON ME when I called at 4 pm to inquire as to when they were coming . . . and the home warranty bitch who I talked to last night told me that if I had someone else out to FIX their work, I'd have to pay again!! *twitch*

So, yeah . . . bureaucratic fuckuppery is the theme of the week. Sorry you're dealing with it too :/
