JULY 4 - I'm inviting people over since I live w/n walking distance of explosions.

Wonderful:
Close to mall (2-3 miles depending on section), can walk blocks to Iwo Jima Marine Memorial area
AC
Parking * (see below)
Big tv with dumb dvds and cartoons. May hook up a Sega Genesis to a HD tv for ironic something something

Shit:
Parking sucks after the AM hours as the entire metro area doesn't plan and just drives to the biggest explosion display in all 50 states as if they could just park at a meter inches from the mall
Trapped - it is a madhouse of people going there and the streets close, parking fills, and you cannot come and go unless you can walk/bike/metro
It's a 2 br condo, not a house
No fizzball or Kabi. In fact, you should go there.

Good question um...anytime really, but I think it would be helpful if I provided the times of expected road closures as a guide. Last year it was published at the end of June:

I mean, I hang out in my living room all the time so if people show up that's just gravy...


Since the roads here closed at 1pm, I guess noon arrival would be good if by car, otherwise it depends on the metro rail crush.

(I'm thinking ballpark noon as very early, 7-8 as good luck getting here but you're welcome to try which includes by hoof)
